We are proud to announce that as of October, 2023, David Walther has become a factory driver for the Tony Kart Racing Team! This is a huge step forward for David and his motorsport career. 2024 therefore offers a lot of new and exciting challenges, where he must continue to drive in OK, but at the same time must also try his hand at KZ.
David is looking forward to the new collaboration with Tony Kart, and is excited to become part of a professional racing team.
2023
David starts the season in the same team, Koski Motorsport, in the class OK-SENIOR. He will drive internationally WSK, Champion of the future, FIA European Championship, FIA World Championship and various club races. Here at home he will drive, if there is time for it, the Danish championships and the Zealand championships, etc.
2022
David changes class to OK-SENIOR internationally. David participates in the WSK series, Champion of the Future, FIA European Series and FIA World Championship.
2021
Starts as a rookie in international OK-JUNIOR karting. FIA World Championship Campillos he puts pole position, and dominates in the initial heats in the top 3. Started P1 for the final, but rain / setup ended on a P4 for the final – an extremely nice result after all! The year ended with 5 x pole positions, 31 x heat victory and 3 x podiums in the WSK, FIA World Championships and FIA European Series. Selected for the FIA Academy Trophy, where he ended up as P1 in Kristianstad, and P2 in the overall championship. Nominated for at the Danish Motorsport Awards in the categories Karting Driver of the Year and DASU Talent of the Year.
2020
David became Danish Champion in the OK-JUNIOR 125cc class. OK-JUNIOR is characterized by being the most difficult class in Denmark. It was David’s first year in this class as a rookie. He ended up being P1 for the Danish Championship. He also participated in the Swedish championship, where he finished as P2. In addition, he was named Talent of the Year by DASU.
